Oh hello my dear friends & visitors ! We cam back yesterday very late, so I couldn't make a stop here & today was a busy day trying to go back to routine, and trying to eat with almost nothing available in the house. (didn't want to let things spoil during 3 weeks !! yuck !) So tomorrow will be a day of shopping for food, with the boys, as they're still on vacations, until Sept. 01st. But Chris is going back to work, poor one.
These 3 weeks brought a lot of good things, really, and {insert a heavyhearted sigh here} a not so good one. It's a bit too long to explain now (it will take me lots of words to explain clearly) but, don't worry, nobody's ill in my family. Last week was a tough week for me (mentally, I mean) but we managed to let our life go on & do things we wanted to do. (if you're really wondering what I may talk about, it's all about my parents, and just thinking about my father makes my blood boil) :(
Soooo ... during these 3 last weeks, I took photos ... lots of photos ... probably between 500 & 550, as I deleted some of them (along the way), and I still have 426 photos & videos, because YES I managed to figure out how to make videos !! Wonderful ! I don't know exactly how I'll manage to show you some of them, but I'll work on that soon.
Last Tuesday we visited (with Chris' mom) a VERY charming town named UZES . We had a great time there, it's such a lovely town. Here are some photos of it.
I can't wait to move to the south & visit there again ! :) We went back to the beach of course, and to the river ("Brissac", the ones who've known me for long enough may remember the name).
The weather has been hot & nice all the time, and we had drizzle & wind all day long today, here in Chessy, which is quite a violent change for us. A bit like a tender slap. Oh well, I won't complain, weather is the least of my problem.
I hope you all had three great weeks while we were away. A huge thanks to the ones of you who took time to stop & leave a sweet comment, it's going to take me some days to be in the good ol' swing of internet life ... I'll be visiting you all as time will allow, as the boys will be on vacations all August. We have lots to do this month, but this will be the content of my next posts ... Welcome home, Sonia! I'm happy to hear that, for the most part, you had a wonderful vacation. Loved seeing your photos. Those little animals that sit on a ledge caught my eye. I have a few like that. :) Will look forward to seeng videos now that you've figured that out. I need to try and post some, too.
