Hello everyone ! :) Here we are, a new Monday, a new week ... there are two weeks left before school starts again. I'm going to miss my little men at home all day. I had forgotten to show you one little craft we made last week ... kind of dioramas, made with shoe boxes, and well ... little things we had on hand, and drawings (P is loving to draw Eve from Pixars' last movie "Wall-E", though they haven't seen it at the cinema)

They had fun making these & I think we'll do for the next vacations, or for the holidays, with a snowy landscape ! :)
We went shopping for food this morning, and we are almost done with the school supplies. But before going, and when the morning sun was still charming (because yes it totally disappeared & was replaced by grey clouds/sky), I took time to take a couple of extra pics of my home sweet home. Wanna make a tour ? Come on, it's free ! :) (PS : you can see the same photos but MUCH larger & with lots of details, at my Flickr) In the order : the first 3 are from my craft corner & the two others are from our bedroom.

Well, I guess that's all for today. Just a happy little Monday with my loved ones. :) I'm happy. I couldn't be more than that. :) Have a great week everyone ! :) OXOX Hugs !

Hi Sonia, what lovely craft. Kids are back to school here, they started 10 days ago. This is only for most of the South, the rest of the USA will start after Labor Day. I hope you stay happy & have a fantastic week, hugs
ReplyDeleteLovely lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteI love having a peek around!
I wouldn't dare to do it in my room. Yet. It is still so bare and empty. And my husband has been unpacking the boxes (well some anyways) in the attic, and me thinks he is planning to bring his 8 thousand books into the room. Well me thinks not. I will wrestle him. This room here will be my craft coven, my little art heaven, and I shall persist :)
Anyways. Am rambling. Just popping in. Saying hi, and being annoying. Hope you are all well and happy. We are getting ready for school as well. I think the Summer has gone by too quickly. And it is still so hot here. It was just over 30 degrees today. Had to get the fan's started. I nearly fainted when I was cooking earlier today. It does get so warm sometimes.I for one, can not wait for Autumn. And rain, and rusty colours.
You see. I started rambling again.
Better go.
I made lemon cake earlier. And I swear I can hear the munchkins nibbling in the kitchen. There shan't be any left for me..........................
Love!
Oh Sonia, I love seeing the boys crafting it really is such a delight to peek into your lives. I love your boys art boxes, what a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing corners of your home, it is so inspiring. Love the calming colours.
Love love love the word love it appears...!
Wishing you well, much love ClareX
Hi Sonia, thanks so much for the kind words and your card was lovely!! What a great idea to sew, very individual, thank you!
ReplyDeleteDave took his three boys (ages 10, 12 and 14) to see Wall-e last week. I was going to go too until I realised that the cinema was in a big retail park with lots of scrummy shops including Starbucks! I spent a couple of very happy hours exploring them! The boys all loved the film :) I would still quite like to see it but will wait until it's on DVD :)
Your boys go back to school the same time as us, eeek not long now!
Hi Sonia...just love the crafts and pictures! Thanks so much for sharing them with us. I so enjoy the pictures you take, you are a very talented photographer, for sure!
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great week!
Lotsa hugs!
Salut Sonia! Thanks for your message, you are too sweet :) I bet your boys are looking forward to the start of school, although I understand completely how you feel about the vacations being over... What gorgeous little boxes you have been making, I will definitely steal that idea ;) Actually, we are getting the girls a craft station of sorts downstairs in our Family room, and I am planning for LOTS of craft supplies to add to it! Only trouble is, I have so many different ideas and am finding it difficult at the moment to organize them into an actual plan!! Oh, and I have just spent a good while browsing through your Flickr photos, I will definitely have a closer look at this widget, it seems like a good way of organizing my photos... Now, you have a lovely rest of the week and enjoy the days left before school starts! Hug those darling boys of yours, and hugs to you as well
