Wow, tomorrow we'll be in June. Oh goodness, P will turn 6 in 3 weeks (24th). My baby, my 1st baby, already 6. Can't believe that. You can call that a slap.
We had a nice family Saturday today. Went shopping for food in the morning, and played a lot most of the day. This is how an appartment can look very quickly when you have two boys ...
Brio tains, Legos, cars ... I can honestly call myself an official train circuits specialist & a certified Lego buildings architect. Ahah !
Yesterday I had moved all the boys' pencils to a more beautiful place. They were in plastic mugs (ugly, I know). Now they reside in a rectangle aluminium (or is it zinc?) container, in which I built seperations with cardboard remnants. And the whole thing now resides permanently on the living room table, so that they can reach them whenever they want to draw or color. (they used to be out of reach for the boys, but they reached an age I can trust them for not drawing on the walls ...)
As I just said, we played a lot at home today. Very simple games like trying to throw a bottle cap between two bottles (of French sparkling water, Perrier) ...
and other games, very funny ones, like this one ...
Oh my, how we laughed !!! My belly's still aching ! LOL Then we went to the closest café (probably 2mn walking - how lazy were we today ?) & Chris & I had a yummy latte ... (the boys had a beverage too, don't worry !)
Except that, I reorganized a lot of our shelves. Having moved my fabrics from a place to another, it meant moving a looooot of other things. In the meantime I'm decluttering a bit everywhere & listing the boys' craft supplies. I bought plastic cases two day ago & they came in handy today as I was organizing. The good thing about (re)organizing is that you get to know/list what you have and what you don't. I can say now that I won't buy fabric for a looooooooong time. I have bought a second embroidery loop to initiate the boys to freehand embroidery. Simply getting used to the tools. I think we'll have fun tomorrow, ah ! OK, gotta go, time to put the boys to bed. Just letting you know that I will post tomorrow. Hoping you all had a great Saturday !! Thanks for stopping by !
