It's sunny this morning, contrary to the last few days. It was quite chill this morning & I guess it had frozen last night. But, anyway. I love having the sun coming in the rooms, and (almost) no matter the temps outside, when the sun is our special guest, I turn the heat off (we heat the whole appt with only one heater, the one of the living room, far from the bedrooms) & open the windows as wide as I can. I am a spring sun lover ! I guess spring will last long over here & that summer will take its time to come, so I'll try to enjoy as long as possible this not-burning sun. I plan to buy a deckchair once we'll be back from our vacations in the south, at our parents' (April 19th to May 04th) and I'll try to get out on the narrow balcony we have as often as I'll have the possibility. I'm not a fan of tans, but I've never had a very pale carnation, and I'm from the south & kind of need this sun & warmth. (but not too much because I HATE excessive heat)
So, this morning, Chris went jogging before the boys went to school. Once back home from taking them to school, we had breakfast, then a coffee & I hoovered the appartment. He was not in a hurry this morning, contrary to everyday. Then we left together & he went to take the train as I went to the supermarket to shop for food. Then I came home, unpacked, & put a load of laundry to dry (which I had put in the machine before bringing the boys to school). Now I'm going to spend the next hour ironing, and then it'll be time to grab the boys. It's 10.30am as I'm typing.
I have added some photos to my Flickr & also updated the crafts blog yesterday. I think we'll have a busy weekend, but well, it's usual. And I love that !

Hello Sonia! We've also had a sunny (or partly sunny) Friday morning which I love. (and Winston too....he sits in the great room window and sunbathes). YOu sound like you had a lovely morning and a nice time with your Mum. Thanks for your congratulations! I'm amazed that it is a girl...actually we're all amazed that it's a girl :)
ReplyDeleteFeeling a lot better today and hoping that the cold will soon pass too. I have a prescription for antibiotics but my GP as asked me to wait 2-3 weeks to use it as this is a looong cold apparently.
