Daily life & Weather Facts

I guess I was a bit too busy on Wednesday with the boys & my mom at home, to post anything here. And today time went by rather quickly too.
U is totally himself again, which lets me think that EITHER his body fought some kind of virus OR he grew a lil* bit. Who knows ? (I guess noone will ever know !) The good thing is that he doesn't have temperature anymore, and he could go to school this morning. Back in February when we went all ill, he started really writing (in capital letters of course, he's only 3 y and a half old). Now you can hardly stop him writing. His name, his brother's, maman (mommy), papa (daddy), and ALMOST any kind of word you can spell him. (though some letters are more difficult than others) I'm very proud of him, as you can tell. *Ü*
Today we had a typical springy weather. Grey, rain, sun, grey, rain, sun, grey, rain, sun, and of course a bit of wind in between. A totally unpredictable weather. In the south, it's not really like that. Sun is shining on a daily basis, and according to the winds coming from the (Mediterranean) sea, it gets overcast, and it hardly rains. At least far far less than over here. Parisian weather is known to be rainy ... AND IT IS ! Last August, when we moved here, it was a horribly rainy month, and we got transported from a hot, southern (regular) summer to unusually (that) rainy autumn-like Parisian summer. That's why we've been wearing the same kind of clothes for more than 8 months now, and for us people from the south, it kinda feels weird. In the south, you can have splendid & unusally hot days in March or early April & have a rather chill May. But you may wear tank tops in spring sometimes ! In Paris, you can't even imagine that !! Anyway ... I thought I could share these weather thoughts today instead of typing three silly words & say goodbye.
I'm sorry I'm a bit behind emails & visits, so I promise to all of you to whO I owe a return visit or a reply, that I'll do my best tomorrow. I hope you all had a great Thursday. Mine was half busy, half lazy. And a lot chatty. (with my mom) LOL
PS : can you tell me what is your screen resolution please ? That'll help me a lot ! Thanks in advance ! XOXOXO HUGS

  1. hi you :) I just wanted to say hello. I'm feeling distracted and not much online...I blame it on needing spring to come and finding that it is not very likely any time soon here! :( Anyway, I'm so glad U is feeling himself...you're right, it very well could be he just had a growth spurt. And how great is that he's such a little writer! :) Just wanted to let you know...my screen resolution is 1280 X 1024. I don't know, but I think that is common now? I will let you go now...have lots of lovely chats with your mom! :) xoxo

  3. Hi Sonia,
Relieved to hear that U is better. I'm sure you're right about the high temp meaning that he was fighting against something trying to infect him! I'm so impressed by what he can do, bless him, that all sounds very advanced for his age, does he spell the words himself?
    Have a great weekend :)

  4. Yeah you have comments, I finally discovered them :) I imagine the difference between the South & Paris. New York is not rainy so life was much easier for someone from Southern California :) Here it's already tank top weather, we should have sun & 25C for the next 6 or 7 days.
Glad U is better & how amazing that he writes already, he's very special. I was surprised not to see your graphics anymore, I already miss them & I'm sure I'm not the only one. Have a great weekend, hugs
